Blue Diamond Resorts unveils new corporate structure



Since its inception in 2011, Blue Diamond Resorts has become the Caribbean’s fastest growing hotel management company, with a 23 property portfolio now exceeding 11,000 rooms in six countries.  The popular resort chain has gained recognition for innovative products and services which enhance customer experience such as the All-In Luxury™ inclusions at Royalton Resorts, and has been acknowledged with having the “#1 All Inclusive Resort in the World” according to TripAdvisor®. 

 

As the Cuba division represents over two thirds of the company’s portfolio and is a key part of the growth strategy, Blue Diamond Resorts has recently made organizational changes to consolidate the management team under a single leadership structure. “We feel that a key to our success has been our ability to react quickly to opportunities, to manage the delivery of a superior product, and to realize cost efficiencies through our scale and relationships,”, said Jordi Pelfort, Managing Director, Blue Diamond Resorts, adding “we are confident that the new structure will result in greater consistency in our product and service delivery across our many brands and will simplify the management of our distribution.”

 

Notable changes under the new structure include Mohamad Fawzi, Director of Cuban Operations for Blue Diamond Resorts reporting directly into Jordi Pelfort, Managing Director, and Rafael Villanueva, Director of Sales for Cuba, reporting directly into Antonio Herrera, Corporate Commercial Director.

 

The evolving resort company has also recently announced the addition of a new Corporate Chef to oversee its impressive culinary program.
